MicroStrategy and its chairman Michael Saylor are being sued by DC Attorney General for tax fraud. Attroney general tweeted about the case when it was first filed, using it as an example for local business owners and citizens who don't want to pay their taxes. Saylor, according to Attorney General, has resided in the DC district for more than ten years, yet he "has never paid any DC income taxes." He notes that MicroStrategy is also a party to the lawsuit. He asserts that the business aids Saylor in avoiding hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of legitimate tax payments.
