It seems that the main focus of Meta's metaverse will be a social network. After all, if users couldn't participate in some way, a virtual "reality" wouldn't be much of a "reality." Yes, this involves NFT and bitcoin exchanges, but it also includes more conventional socialising.

Players of the video game platform Roblox have access to a library of games that were all made by other Roblox users. It currently has more than 20 million games in its library, many of which are monetizable.
