There is a distinction between Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and accountants, but what is a CPA? Certified accountants are distinguished from other accountants by restrictive state and CPA licensing requirements such as education, examination, and experience. Individuals who want to practice as a certified public accountant are also required to take courses for their continuing education. In that way, it can keep them up to date about certain changes and breakthroughs in the field of accountancy. CPAs are considered to be the most experienced tax advisors. Part of knowing the answer on what is a CPA; the term CPA itself indicates sense of pride and prestige in comparison to accountants who do not have a license.
